VEX MEDIA BIKE TOWER (Patent Pending)
The Vex Media Bike Tower is a free standing tower in which a bike's frame is bolted directly to a Tower axle. The Bike Tower consists of a solid Fly-Wheel, resistive hydraulic controller and chain drive system.
The rear wheel of a bike is removed and the bike is installed on the tower in the same manner as installing a rear wheel. The bike's chain is installed on a 7 cog sprocket attached to the Tower's Fly Wheel. The bike's gear shifter allows for smooth shifting as resistance is applied to the bike pedals.
The Bike Tower eliminates noise, tire wear, rubber dust and a front wheel block. The only noise generated is the bike's chain.
The Bike Tower's smooth hydraulic system mimics the feel of a road bike.
The Bike Tower comes with a manualy operated electronic resistance controller. A Variable Speed Video Playback System (not included) can easily be integrated with the Bike Tower.
